This High Intensity Discharge (HID) HPS light bulb is commonly used in areas where high efficiency and long life are required. High pressure sodium light bulbs feature high efficacy, or high lumens per watt, creating energy saving opportunities, and making high pressure sodium one of the most efficient HID bulbs. It's designed for indoor and outdoor applications where color rendering is not important.
Requires ANSI ballast S54 for correct operation. For use in enclosed fixtures only, this medium base high pressure sodium light bulb offers long life of 24,000 average rated hours.
