The Kirks Lane 62291 candle follower has a 7/8-inch inside diameter. It will not fit a 1¼-inch candle.
I recommend the Koley’s 1¼-inch Bright Brass Candle Follower. It is designed specifically for candles measuring 1¼ inches in diameter.
